Maintenance of health and safety standards at our plants and offices is a serious issue at CSAPL. We are committed to actively managing health and safety risks associated with our business and are actively working towards improving our procedures to reduce, remove or control the risk of fire, accidents or injuries to employees and visitors. We also ensure that our products are shipped in a safe manner complying with safety standards and legal requirements.

The Company’s SHE objectives are broadly stated as under:


•	To maintain an international standard in SHE, conducive to a healthy workforce that will help in the attainment of the Company’s SHE goals and objectives

•	To ensure compliance with international and national laws pertaining to Safety, Health and Environment.

•	To provide a safe and healthy environment within the factory area.

•	Checking the blasted profile and depth of anchor pattern.

•	Checking temperature of pipe prior to acid wash (Note: Acid Wash is carried out to remove traces of chlorides from pipe surface when specified by the client)

•	Monitoring of Chromate Wash.

The Company’s SHE Mission is as follows,


•	All work related injuries and illnesses are preventable, our aim is zero harm.

•	All escapes of hazardous material, if any, can also be prevented and / or made safe. Emissions in the course of the operation, if any, will be progressively reduced and made safe.

•	Highest standards for the disposal of waste materials will be adhered to.

•	Checking the blasted profile and depth of anchor pattern.

•	Energy, water and other resources, both natural and man made will be utilized efficiently to minimize waste.

•	Line management is accountable for leading continuous improvement in SHE performance as per defined policies and goals.

•	All employees have a personal responsibility for their own safety and health, for others in the workplace and for the environment in which they work.

•	Safety and good health are equally important away from work and is encouraged.

•	All employees are involved in the implementation of safety policies, measures and procedures.
